As we reflect on the National Center milestones and the many milestones of the past century, we are reminded that we do indeed stand on the shoulders of giants like Edmund Pellegrino and DeWitt (Bud) Baldwin Jr., among others. We continue a century-long legacy of working to redesign health professions education for interprofessional teamwork, and to redesign health and healthcare delivery to realize the potential of effective interprofessional collaboration to achieve the outcomes that matter most for the individuals, families, and communities that we serve.
